I have been fortunate to work with Kathy Caraccio since 2017. Kathy Caraccio is a master printer, artist, curator, professor, and collector. She has printed in collaboration with hundreds of artists from all over the world nurturing a large and caring community around her studio. I have been fortunate enough to have learned so much from her—a born teacher, she trained in etching color print with Maria Samosa (El Museo del Barrio, NYC, 1972-73), in viscosity printing with Arun Bose and Krishna Reddy (NYC, 1970-73), and papermaking with Zarina Hashmi (NYC).
To me she is my Printmaking Master, mentor and the curator of my solo show at St. Joseph’s University Council for the Arts—245 Clinton Avenue, Brooklyn NY —Alumni Room Gallery, Tuohy Hall.
I will be at St. Joseph’s this Saturday and next—it will be great to see you there!
April 13, 2024 from 1-3.
April 20, 2024 from 1-3
NOTE: The show will come down on Sunday April 21.
