St. Joseph's University Council for the Arts
Brooklyn Campus- Tuohy Hall—The Alumni Room Gallery
245 Clinton Avenue, Brooklyn, NY 11205
March 21 to April 18, 2024
Thrilled to announce that St. Joseph’s University Council for the Arts will be presenting a solo exhibition of my work. The exhibition features a variety of images, including woodcuts, collographs and intaglio. My work is abstracted from nature and responds to my experience as a native-born Brooklynite. Images emerge by observing and responding to this miraculous place of constant growth with its juxtaposition of hard-edged buildings escalating ever taller with the trees and plants growing in parks, along streets, and in sidewalk cracks despite all odds.
The images have been created in collaboration with Master Printmaker Kathy Caraccio. As a fine art printmaker, I have also had the extraordinary experience of working with Marina Ancona of 10 Grand Press, Sheila Goloborotko and the late Sheila Marbain.
