I was acknowledged for two Merit Awards for my woodcuts by Grey Cube Gallery in their fourth international “Botanicals” online art contest for 2023. Contest was open to artists worldwide over 18 years of age and the gallery invited artists and photographers to share their artistic vision using any work with interpretation of botanical and floral art (flowers, herbs, fruit, leaves, plants and related floral subjects). Each submission was judged based on the following elements of artistic expression: originality and quality of art, overall design, creativity, interpretation of the theme, demonstration of artistic ability and usage of medium. Out of all entries, 116 artworks were shortlisted for inclusion in the show. The competition attracted entries from many countries across the world: USA, Taiwan, China, Australia, Canada, Japan, Taiwan, Hong Kong, UK and Italy.

My interpretation included two favorite woodcuts: Bright Points, Like Stars and The One Delighting. Printed at Kathy Caraccio Printmaking Studio, NY, NY.
